I am always game for trying something new, especially if it’s just a temporary risk. I’ve played around with temporary tattoos before and they are always surprisingly cool and chic. When I saw these metallic tattoos, I immediately bought a pack to try. Gold and silver blends so well with the jewelry I already wear.
The pack I used are from Flash Tattoos. They come in several sheets, and can be used hundreds of ways. I took a couple strips to do wrap around bracelets. They’re kind of like flashy stickers! You can leave them on for a couple days (they generally last for three to five days), or just scrub them off with soap when you’re done with them.
The sheets included necklace strands in both large and small patterns, as well as in black and gold colors. There were also a several on-trend tattoos. I tried out the feather and loved how it turned out. Also tried out a metallic ear cuff. It is subtle but it is a fun way to work in a little flash with a normal stud earring. I wore a messy pony (tutorial coming soon) so that I could show off the metallic cuff tattoo.
These temporary tattoos are great alternatives for those of us who don’t like the feeling of heavy jewelry (raising my hand!). Also, they can be a cool addition to beachwear, wedding attire, or even just for a date!
